For the most of us, owning an island resort is the unimaginable. But now the owners of the Kosrae Nautilus Resort in Micronesia are offering one lucky person the chance to win it for just $49.
After running the scuba diving hotel for over twenty years, the owners Doug and Sally Beitz are moving back to Australia to be closer to their family, and are decided upon a unique way of sell the property. In order for this to be a viable proposition for the Beitzes, they must sell over 50,000 raffle tickets by 26 July, after which one lucky contestant will become the proud owner of the island resort.
So what do you win exactly? Well, pretty much everything you need to run an island resort. The debt-free 16-bedroom hotel located on Kosrae Island in the remote Micronesia archipelago comes complete with pool, restaurant and private beach. You’ll have two dive boats, five rental cars, two ten-seater minibuses, one pickup truck, kayaks, scuba equipment, $10,000 in a business account and $5,000 of stock.
