Life continues in Civitacampomarano, a small village in the Campobasso region of Italy, in much the same way it has done for years.
While the lives of most of the world are quickly becoming more digital – our communication, shopping and entertainment is increasingly done via the internet – in Civitacampomarano, the good old ways still exist. The ageing population still hold on to their proud traditions and a sense of community can be found that is rarely seen in Europe anymore.
In the village, where mobile phone signal is unreliable at best and most have never used the internet, urban artist Biancoshock has created a new project called Web 0.0 that looks to highlight how our increasingly virtual worlds are just digital mimics of real life.
