Nothing is more beautiful than bringing the natural aesthetics of the outdoors inside.

Which is what designer Martina Schuhman has done with her new “stone” rugs.

The catch is: these rugs aren’t made out of stone at all. They’re made from llama, alpaca, sheep, goat and rabbit wool. She also uses silks to give the round balls of wool their stone-like texture and patterns.

Each rug is 100% unique.

She makes each wool ball and then sews each ball individually to a rug mat.

The result is a stunning rug that looks like the naturally beautiful floor of a pristine river—but without all the cold, hard feeling to go with it.

As soon as you step on these “rocks” your feet are in for a major delight.
