Single dad transforms double-decker bus into dream summer home for his teenage girl

Purchasing a second home for getaways and family vacations is a luxury most of us only dream about.

But a small budget and limited resources didn’t stop Adam and his 12-year-old daughter Devin from finding a way to build a home where they could spend their family vacations near some of England’s best surfing destinations.

Adam is a carpenter by trade and a surfing single dad when he’s not on-the-job.

Instead of buying a stationary second home, Adam purchased a secondhand double-decker bus and made plans to renovate it to include 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, loft, and dining room.

And the results are stunning.
