The new Nashare Hotel, hidden amongst the tranquil pine forests of Xiamen, has been built with the surrounding natural environment in mind.
While most designers would have blasted the forest’s large boulders and rock faces away, C+ Architects and Naza design studio incorporated them into the hotel’s design.
The twelve rooms include elements of the landscape – walls of exposed rock and whole boulders make each one completely unique. The relationship with the surroundings is only strengthened further with the use of cladded pine and views down over the ocean.
