Man rides 15-foot bicycle through San Francisco—then the bike starts falling into the Bay

Richie Trimble from San Francisco is trying to beat a world record.

He’s already built and ridden at 10-foot bike successfully. So the next step on his way to the 20-foot world record is, naturally, 15 feet.

“I really like when people tell me I can’t do something,” Richie says in the video, “because then it gives me a reason to prove them wrong.”

From ground to handlebars, Richie’s newest invention measures a staggering 15 feet tall. In the video below you can see Richie ride it for the first time…

“The first time riding the bike is by far the most scary. You climb up and you start realizing, every hand that you put up to pull yourself up is…another one or two feet.”

Then he gets a big smile on his face: “I love it.”

And then the bike almost falls into the San Francisco Bay.

Oops. 🙂
