About a year ago, Jacob Laukaitis ventured out to North Korea on a 7-day guided tour — because that’s how you have to visit North Korea. He couldn’t explore on his own. He felt confined and it wasn’t how he was used to traveling.
He said, “North Koreas was definitely the weirdest country I had ever visited and during my time there I kept wondering what life was like in the neighboring South Korea.”
Just 60 years ago, there wasn’t a north and south, but rather, just Korea.
