Never before seen aerial footage of Uluru Rock in Australia’s red centre has been captured by drones using the first ever permits inside Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
The video created by Ayers Rock Resort sees views of the 600-million-year-old monolith from a perspective seen by very few before.
The sacred spot is just the tip of a huge rock that reaches down over 5kms below the ground. At over 348m high, its taller than Sydney’s Centrepoint Tower, the Eiffel Tower and just 33m lower than New York’s Empire State Building.
