Just when things were getting really fun, the cops showed up. Ugh! At least that’s how some Asheville, North Carolina folks who built a makeshift slip-n-slide in their neighborhood thought their story was going to end.
To the residents’ surprise, the cops decided to join in on the fun.
The two officers said they’d received a complaint from one of the neighbors about the slip-n-slide blocking the road. Upon arriving at the scene, the officers realized it wasn’t a big deal and decided to join in on the fun, not knowing they’d go completely viral.
The first to go down was the female officer, Carrie Lee.
After Officer Lee had her fun, her partner, Officer Jones was convinced to participate. “I thought I was going to be able to get out of it, because I’m too big to fit in a trash bag,” he said. “But then when the kids pulled out this big raft … I had no choice.”
After it was all said and done, the officers even got some attention on the Morning Dose, a popular daily TV broadcast.

Moments like these make us all remember that before they are labeled as cops, Officers Lee and Jones are still people, and they like to have a good time too.
