Wildlife photo shoots couldn’t get cuter than this. Joey the Koala was taking part in a photo shoot at the Symbio Wildlife Park in Australia’s New South Wales when a butterfly tried to steal the show.

During the shoot, Joey found a butterfly on a nearby plant. When moving in to investigate further, the butterfly took a liking to the cute koala and attached itself to his nose, staying there during filming. Even when nuzzled, the bold butterfly just moves to the top of Joey’s head, away from harm’s way but still in the direct view of the camera.

The video on the Symbio Wildlife Park’s Facebook page went viral with almost 10 million views and we can certainly see why.

The koala and many other animals across the world are endangered. This is almost entirely due to human interference, poaching or habitat loss. Wildlife experts The Great Projects run a series of wildlife conservation projects which looks to protect some of the world’s most threatened species. The Great Projects
