Casa Cook, a “new boutique hotel for the bohemian spirit” says the hotel’s website which opened this month on the Greek island Rhodes. The achingly beautiful design was a collaboration between design agency Lambs & Lions, architect Vana Pernariv and interior designer Annabell Kutucu.
And what a design, hitting the tone just right with a minimalist white washed structure, softened with rustic wooden furniture and painted wall tiles. Looking at the images, with the backdrop of olive groves and craggy hilltops, it’s hard to believe that the hotel is large enough for 90 rooms, each one of which opens onto a pool with a private sun bathing jetty.
Perhaps most surprising of all is the owner – Thomas Cook, the British travel company famed for their package holidays. They’re obviously taking a new direction as this is the first of many Casa Cooks to be opened in the coming years.
